Adana Demirspor of Turkey’s first division has made a formal offer to Nottingham Forest for out-of-favor striker Emmanuel Dennis.
The Tricky Trees are trying to get rid of Dennis since the City Ground has judged him surplus to requirements.
Even though several of the main European windows closed on September 1st, they were unable to locate a bidder for the player.
Turkey has come up as a potential location for the 25-year-old as investigators continue to look for answers.
An official offer to sign Dennis has reportedly been made by Adana Demirspor, according to the Turkish publication Sports Digitale.
Other teams are allegedly interested in signing the player to a season-long loan agreement.
Associated Super Lig side Trabzonspor had voiced a strong desire to remove the player off Nottingham Forest’s roster, but their attempts never materialized.
This Friday is the deadline for Turkish transfers, so Adana Demirspor will be hoping they moved quickly enough to beat out rivals.
