JUST IN : Nottingham Forest’s main player will leave tomorrow for his medical

There appears to have been some confusion around Emmanuel Dennis’ transfer from Nottingham Forest to Basaksehir, as it was previously indicated that he would be traveling to Turkey for his medical.

That is no longer the case, as the footballer appears to have had his physical in England, as reported by Yaz Sabuncuolu on X, formerly Twitter.

He says that, contrary to what he previously stated, the striker will go from Nottingham Forest to Istanbul for his health check on Friday.

Dennis, it should be noted,’reached an agreement’ with the Turkish side earlier today, and then added that he ‘will be in Istanbul tomorrow,’ referring to Friday.

Instead, the player’s medical ‘was carried out’ on these shores, which means that either Nottingham Forest permitted him to do it at their facility to expedite things, or someone from Basaksehir traveled over to oversee a medical in England.

In any case, the deal appears to be proceeding, and Dennis will be departing City Ground in the near future, as the Turkish transfer window ends on Friday.
