JUST IN: THE MANAGER OF SUNDERLAND HAS SET UP HIS LINE-UP FOR THEIR MATCH AGAINST QPR.

PATRICK ROBERTS has resumed full training and is expected to return to Sunderland’s starting lineup for tomorrow’s game against QPR.

Roberts has missed the last two games for the Black Cats due to a hamstring injury suffered in last month’s triumph over Rotherham United.

However, the winger has been able to participate in full training this week and is anticipated to return to Sunderland’s starting lineup against Loftus Road, with Abdoullah Ba relegated to the substitutes’ bench.

Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray stated, “He’s been training for a few days and he looks fine.” You already know what I think of Patrick – he’s a terrific footballer.”

While Roberts is anticipated to return to the starting lineup, Mowbray is understandably wary of making too many changes to the team that destroyed Southampton 5-0 before the international break.

“It’s very difficult to change a team that has just won 5-0 against one of the favourites and created so many chances,” he remarked.
