Liverpool ended up strolling over Wolves tonight, thanks to a scintillating second half performance at Molineux.
Cody Gakpo equalized before Andy Robertson scored to make it 2-1 not long after. Harvey Elliott then sealed the victory with a strike from the edge of the area.
Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher acknowledged he was impressed with what Elliott demonstrated.

Elliott’s contribution off the bench was once again outstanding. Jurgen Klopp will be thrilled with the former Fulham youngster’s performance this season.
And, soon following the game, Carragher took to his X account to compliment Elliott, whom he described as “excellent.”
Elliott, who reportedly makes £40,000 per week at Anfield, has proven to be a valuable asset for Liverpool since joining from Fulham.
And if he can continue to score goals like he did today, he might become a very significant player for the Reds as the season develops.
RTK’s Point of View: Demonstrating his class
There have always been hints of Harvey Elliott’s talent, and it appears that this could be the year that he demonstrates it even more.
Breaking into the Liverpool XI on a consistent basis will always be a difficult task for Elliott. But if he can maintain his current form and force Klopp’s hand, he may become a regular.
Elliott is still a young man with a promising future. But this feels like a crucial season for him, one in which he can properly demonstrate why the club brought him in.
