The Wolves have finally promoted a crucial academy player to the senior team squad

Wednesday’s edition begins with an exclusive interview with sporting director Matt Hobbs, who discusses the decision to elevate the academy striker to the senior group, and how it is a reward for all of Fraser’s hard work as he has progressed through the Old Gold set-up.

Hobbs also believes that Fraser’s elevation, as well as what has happened previously with Hugo Bueno, Joe Hodge, and Maximilian Kilman, will serve as an example to the academy’s younger players that the road is accessible to them provided they exhibit the appropriate attitude on and off the field.

Listeners may also hear from midfielder Tommy Doyle, who spoke to Mikey Burrows in the latest episode of the Wolves Weekly podcast about his life before Wolves and his first few weeks as a member of the Old Gold.

The episode concludes with a look at Wolves’ efforts at Compton Park related to the One Pack, One Planet program, and Gemma Frith has been speaking with Wolves’ head of grounds Wayne Lumbard about what the club has been doing to improve biodiversity and attract wildlife back to the training field.

Wolves Express is published three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and is packed with news, updates, and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing sides of the club, complementing Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
