QPR’s important player who has been out with an injury is scheduled to return next week.

Jimmy Dunne of QPR is expected to return to play next week.

Dunne has been ruled out after dislocating his shoulder in a pre-season friendly against Oxford United.

He was recently cleared to play again and might be in the squad for Saturday’s home game against Coventry.

Dunne is unlikely to participate in the game, but he is expected to appear for Rangers’ development side against Millwall on Tuesday.

“There’s a game next week, and it would be great for Jimmy to get some minutes in,” manager Gareth Ainsworth said.

Rangers have no motive to rush Dunne back as one of their summer acquisitions. Steve

Cook and Morgan Fox have established themselves in the starting lineup, while Jake Clarke-Salter has recently appeared as a substitute.
“If there was a need for Jimmy to play this weekend, he would be available,” Ainsworth added. There would be little danger.

“Jimmy won’t start, but he might be involved.” He’s back in the gym with us now.”
