“It has always been a dream for me to play in the Premier League and experience English football there – and I have fulfilled this dream,” he stated.
“In my three years at Leeds, I’ve felt very comfortable and have grown as a footballer and as a person.” The club is extremely important to me. But it was time for me to make another sporting move.”
The Leeds United player revealed that he had various options and explained why he chose Eintracht Frankfurt.

“I looked into it intensively, I also thought about staying in the Premier League, there were also other inquiries,”

“In the end, it wasn’t an easy decision, but as I’ve done throughout my career, I trusted my instincts.” Eintracht Frankfurt, with their team and supporters, is the appropriate team for me to play for next season. Also, in light of what has been built here in recent years.”

Koch hasn’t played for Germany since June 2021, although he expressed a desire to rejoin to the national team earlier this month. The Whites defender has reiterated that this was a role in his decision to join Eintracht Frankfurt over other clubs.

“It is my clear goal to return to the DFB team.” This was also taken into account while making the loan to Eintracht Frankfurt. I want to make the national team again, and I understand that it is all about performance. “I want to demonstrate that in Frankfurt and be at the top level so that I can reapply for the national team,” he continued.
