Leicester City of England has joined Nigerian talents Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi in celebrating Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day.
Nigeria is celebrating 63 years since its independence on October 1, 2023.
As well-wishes from around the world pour in for the country, the Foxes have added to the total by sending their best wishes to Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 63rd anniversary.
They said on their official Facebook page, “Wishing everyone celebrating Nigerian Independence Day a great time.”
Leicester have two Nigerian internationals in Iheanacho and Ndidi, both of whom have been in fantastic form this season as the club looks to return to the Premier League. On Sunday, the Foxes defeated Blackburn 4-1, with Iheanacho scoring one of the goals.
