Newcastle United may be poised to announce a new contract for Bruno Guimaraes.

Fabrizio Romano stated last week that an agreement had been reached on a contract extension for the Brazilian, indicating that his new contract will run until June 2028.

A substantial wage increase was suggested, as well as a suspected release clause in excess of £100 million, although we have yet to see any formal statement more than a week after Romano’s ‘exclusive.’
