Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi could sign fantastic key player permanently after loan ends

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi is facing the very real prospect of signing his star player on a permanent basis after his loan stay finishes.

Brighton and Hove Albion have performed admirably this season, currently sitting sixth in the Premier League table and on track to reach their pre-season targets.

Although the Seagulls faltered in their most recent meeting against Aston Villa, which was not a memorable affair for Roberto De Zerbi, they appear to be in fine shape overall.

The South Coast side’s immense depth is one of their key assets. Roberto De Zerbi is a skilled tactician, thus having the correct players and backups available to him is critical. Ansu Fati, the Barcelona forward on loan at Brighton until the end of the season, has certainly helped in this regard.

Fati, who is regarded as the next greatest thing, does not appear to have a place in Barcelona. He was loaned out partly because he was surplus to requirements at the Catalan club.

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi is considering bringing Ansu Fati from Barcelona on a permanent basis.

With that in mind, Barcelona is willing to sell Ansu Fati. That’s true, according to Sport, when Ansu Fati’s loan at the Amex Stadium expires, Barcelona will be open to bids.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Roberto De Zerbi took advantage of this opportunity as soon as feasible. Because he is on loan at Brighton, I believe they have first dibs on Fati. Given that Brighton is a selling club, securing their own future stars is crucial for the club’s long-term health, thus I’d be shocked if they didn’t pursue Fati on a permanent deal.

Do you believe Brighton should sign Ansu Fati on a permanent basis?
