Delphi Cole, a Birmingham City striker, has signed a dual-registration deal with FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division team West Bromwich Albion.
Both clubs only recently revealed the agreement via their official media channels.
Cole came through Birmingham City’s academy system and made her senior debut for the club at the age of 16. In recent seasons, the forward has been in and out of the first team squad, although he has battled for playing time.
Cole spent last season with West Bromwich Albion in the third tier, and she is now returning to The Baggies to acquire more experience this season.
West Bromwich Albion head coach Siobhan Hodgetts told the club’s official media team after re-signing Cole, “I’m really excited to have Delphi back with us.” She’s a fantastic finisher and a young player with a lot of talent and potential. I’m confident she’ll fit in well with the group, and we’re forward to work with her this season.”
Cole made 11 appearances for West Bromwich Albion in the FA Women’s National League during her first stay with the club, scoring two goals. This season, the youngster will be trying to reach the back of the goal on a regular basis for the club.
