Huddersfield Town potential defender has stressed the need for his team to follow ahead of their match

On Saturday, the two early underachievers will square off in their eleventh league game of the season.

Following a dismal start, the Owls have parted ways with manager Xisco Munoz and will be managed by caretaker manager Neil Thompson for the encounter.

The worst team lost their last match at Hillsborough against Sunderland, who scored two early goals in the fifth and eighth minutes.

Using that as an example, Lees, the veteran defender, suggested that Huddersfield do the same and ruin the mood from the start.

“We saw the other night when they played Sunderland, they scored straight away and killed the atmosphere” ,

“That’s what we’ve got to do: impose ourselves on it and immediately kill the atmosphere.”

“I’m sure it’ll be a wonderful occasion.”

“I think there are a lot of clubs with the kind of expectations that Sheffield Wednesday have, but they’re a massive club with a lot of fans.”

“Maybe coming up from League One you usually get a bit of grace but there there’s no time.”

Huddersfield had ten points from their first ten league games and are presently 19th, two points ahead of relegation rivals QPR.
