Former AC Milan prospective midfielder has admitted to betting on football matches,

Following the revelation of Juventus midfielder Nicolò Fagioli’s betting activities, it has come to light that the ex-AC Milan player, Sandro Tonali, is also entangled in this scandal. The initial reports regarding Fagioli surfaced in mainstream media yesterday, and according to Corriere della Sera’s morning report, Fagioli, who plays for Juventus, has confessed to placing bets on football matches, though not on matches involving his own team. If he is found culpable by the FIGC Prosecutor, he could face a ban of up to three years.

Fabrizio Corona, the individual who initially exposed the news regarding Fagioli in recent months, has suggested that Sandro Tonali, the former Milan midfielder, and former Roma winger Nicolo Zaniolo are also implicated in this betting scandal (as per Calcio e Finanza).

Milan transferred Tonali to Newcastle in the summer for a sum of approximately €70 million, which means Milan may not be directly affected by this issue. Whether Tonali is found guilty or not remains to be seen, as the allegations are currently only based on reports.
