Wolves fantastic star player has been confirmed as the club’s newest ambassador for the club charity working to help people across the city.

The current captain of Wolverhampton Wanderers has joined the ranks of ambassadors for the club charity that assists the underprivileged in the city. Maximilian Kilman has joined the Wolves Foundation as an ambassador for the official charity of the team, and the organization is thrilled to make this announcement.

Kilman, who played in his 100th league game for Wolves against Sheffield United on Saturday, will become a member of the group of ambassadors that promote and support the foundation’s wide range of community-based initiatives.

The news is released in advance of the inaugural Wolves Foundation Gala Dinner on November 8, where hundreds of people—among them Kilman—will gather to honor individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves in the community.

At the onset of the 2023–24 season, the 26-year-old center defender—who was named club captain—expressed excitement about contributing to the rapidly expanding foundation.

“Being an ambassador for the Wolves Foundation means a lot to me,” he declared.

“I have witnessed firsthand the positive effects that football can have on the neighborhood throughout my career, so I’m thrilled to be getting more involved.”

“The Wolves Foundation does amazing work in so many areas, and the players are always eager to meet with fans and support the various projects.”In my opinion, I am eager to serve in whatever way I can and am truly looking forward to taking on the role of ambassador.

Kilman becomes the latest addition to the group of ambassadors that already includes former Wolves captain Karl Henry, record-breaking Wolves Women appearance maker Anna Price, music producer and artist S-X, broadcasters Johnny Phillips, Mark Rhodes, and Jacqui Oatley, former GB paralympic captain Jack Rutter, inspirational speaker Jack Rutter, and chef and influencer Mitch Lane.

“Max has been a keen supporter of Wolves Foundation and, as one of the club’s longest serving players, is aware of the role we play and impact we deliver across the local community.

“His own story in how he has worked so hard to progress and become an established Premier League player, and earned the respect of everyone at the club to become captain, is one which sets a fantastic example for others to follow.

“We are delighted that he has agreed to become a foundation ambassador, and look forward to working closely with him over the coming weeks and months.”
