Brandon Thomas-Asante expresses gratitude to the staff at West Brom for their role in his improvement since joining the club from Salford City last summer. The striker, who scored nine goals in his debut season and has netted five times in 14 outings this season, acknowledges the valuable lessons he has learned at West Brom. Despite being the primary fit striker for large periods, Thomas-Asante believes he is far from reaching his full potential.
He credits the staff at the club, from the initial set to the current team, for creating an environment where he feels comfortable expressing himself on the pitch. Thomas-Asante emphasizes the importance of earning the trust of his teammates to play freely. He is confident that there is more to come from him and believes he is not even halfway to reaching his peak.
The striker shares insights into his family’s support, with both his Mum and Dad following him to every West Brom game. Surprisingly, it’s his Mum who puts pressure on him to score more goals. Thomas-Asante, however, doesn’t let the pressure affect him, stating his constant desire to score and improve. He reflects on the progress he has made this year, expressing satisfaction with his performances and acknowledging that there’s still room for learning and development in his game.
