Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly eyeing a move for Manchester United’s Amad Diallo. The interest in the 21-year-old forward dates back to 2021 when Wolves scouted him during Nuno Espirito Santo’s tenure. With Gary O’Neil now at the helm, Wolves have made contact over a potential loan deal for Diallo as they seek attacking reinforcements in the January transfer window.
Amad Diallo, known for his versatility as a left-footed player, can operate as a right winger, left winger, or attacking midfielder. His loan stint with Sunderland in the Championship last season garnered praise, contributing to 18 goals as the team reached the playoff semi-finals. Tony Mowbray, the Sunderland boss, lauded Diallo as an “amazing footballer” and highlighted the ease with which he navigates the game.
