Marco Silva confirm fresh injury blow ahead of Fulham’s clash with Aston Villa

Fulham’s striker Rodrigo Muniz is expected to be out of action until early December due to a knee injury, which prematurely ended his full Premier League debut against Manchester United last weekend. Manager Marco Silva revealed that while the injury isn’t severely serious, Muniz will likely miss the next few games, with a return anticipated after the international break, possibly within three to four weeks.

Silva is yet to decide on the fitness of defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Kenny Tete, along with forward Adama Traore, for the upcoming match against Aston Villa on Sunday. Traore, who joined Fulham in the summer, has been recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in September. Adarabioyo, who underwent groin surgery in September, has been back in training for two weeks, while Tete, suffering from a groin injury since mid-September, is not expected to be fit for the Villa Park encounter.

Despite hopes that Adarabioyo and Traore would be available for the Manchester United match, they were not deemed ready. Additionally, right-back Kenny Tete, out of action since September 16 due to a groin injury, is unlikely to feature in Sunday’s game.

Defender Issa Diop, sidelined with a foot injury since October 7, remains weeks away from returning to action.
