Liam Rosenior’s persistent efforts with Hull City striker Liam Delap are proving fruitful, evident in Delap’s notable performances in the 2023-24 season. Following a challenging loan period at Preston last year, the Manchester City forward has found success across the Pennines, establishing himself as one of the standout young attackers at this level.
Rosenior, expressing admiration for Delap, acknowledged his role in pushing the striker during training sessions, stating, “He is one of a kind, and I love him. He is probably the player who I shout at the most in training. But he is a player I enjoy working with a lot as well.” The coaching staff, including assistant Justin Walker, had prior experience with Delap from his time at Derby, making them confident in his fit for Hull City. Delap’s education at Manchester City aligned with Hull’s playing style, leading to positive moments on the field.
While Rosenior had cause for satisfaction, Huddersfield Town’s challenges persisted under manager Darren Moore.
