AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud is facing the risk of receiving a two-match ban from the sports judge

AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud is facing the risk of receiving a two-match ban from the sports judge due to the red card he received in the match against Lecce over the weekend, according to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport via Pianeta Milan.

If the ban is imposed, Giroud could miss the upcoming match against Fiorentina on November 25 and the game against Frosinone at the beginning of December. The draw against Lecce, coupled with wins by Juventus and Inter, puts added pressure on Milan not to slip further behind in the competition.

The decision on Giroud’s suspension is expected to be officially communicated by Serie A sports judge Gerardo Mastrandrea. While the expectation is a two-game ban, Giroud is currently focused on international duties with the French national team during the ongoing international break.
