Reigning World Rugby Player of the Year potential star has been included among New Zealand Rugby’s men’s Player of the Year nominees.

Reigning World Rugby Player of the Year, Ardie Savea, is among the nominees for New Zealand Rugby’s Men’s Player of the Year. The standout performer for the All Blacks during the recent Rugby World Cup in France, Savea is nominated alongside the Barrett brothers, Jordie and Scott, and scrumhalf Aaron Smith.

Savea played a crucial role in the All Blacks’ title-winning Rugby Championship campaign earlier this year and reached the Rugby World Cup final against South Africa last month.

New Zealand Rugby has introduced two new awards, the Bunnings Warehouse Rugby Club of the Year and Te Hāpai New Zealand Rugby Community Impact Award. The awards aim to recognize outstanding contributions to the sport at both club and community levels.
