Leicester City legend believes the Foxes are ‘capable’ of breaking Reading’s 106-point record

Leicester City icon Frank Sinclair is optimistic about the team’s potential to surpass Reading’s record of 106 points set in the 2005/06 season. Despite the 2016 Premier League champions leading the Championship table with 13 victories in 16 matches, they have suffered more defeats than Steve Coppell’s squad did throughout the entire 2005/06 campaign.

In an interview with Stocklytics, the former Leicester City and Chelsea striker expressed his belief in the Foxes’ ability to achieve this feat. Sinclair stated that it would be fantastic for the team’s confidence upon returning to the Premier League. Despite a recent dip in form over the past couple of games, he anticipates that Leicester will come close to breaking the record.
