Pau Torres has urged Villa to reproduce their impressive home form during their away matches. Aston Villa’s victory over Fulham prior to the international break marked their 13th consecutive Premier League win at Villa Park, matching a record set in 1983. Despite the club’s aim to secure another European spot, Torres acknowledges the need for ongoing improvements.
“We just have to maintain our focus on each game,” Torres remarked. “Currently, we feel confident and secure in our structure and playing style – that’s our approach. However, there’s room for improvement in our performances on the road because accumulating points away is crucial for maintaining our current position.
“The win against Fulham was highly significant for us to sustain our position in the European spots.”
