Leicester City fantastic star player favours return to Premier League over Barcelona and Sevilla.

Nigeria’s Wilfred Ndidi, an international footballer currently with Leicester City, is reportedly considering a move to the Premier League despite interest from Spanish clubs Barcelona and Sevilla.

Foot Mercato has reported that the midfielder, who has spent most of his career in the English top flight, is leaning towards remaining in the Premier League rather than making a move to Barcelona or Sevilla. The La Liga clubs are keen on bolstering their midfield with Ndidi but may face a setback due to his preference for staying in England.

Ndidi, 26, played in the Premier League until the previous season when Leicester City was relegated to the Championship. Throughout his Premier League career, he made 192 appearances, contributing seven goals and ten assists. Notably, Newcastle and Tottenham from the Premier League are said to be monitoring Ndidi’s situation, indicating interest in securing his services.

Leicester City: Why Real Madrid want to sign Wilfred Ndidi

As Ndidi approaches the final months of his contract with Leicester City, he is eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs in January. However, his availability might have been affected by a muscle-related injury that kept him out of the Nigeria squad for the November internationals against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
