Giovanni van Bronckhorst, former manager of Rangers, has revealed that managing the Scottish club was a 24-hour job filled with stress. He was sacked by Rangers a year ago and has been without a club since then. Despite receiving several job offers, the Dutchman has chosen not to accept any new roles, emphasizing the importance of rest and being stress-free at home.
Van Bronckhorst stated, “The offer from a club where I thought: ‘I’m going to put my energy into that’ has not yet come along. But I remain open to a new adventure.” While he expressed interest in starting at a new club in the summer, he acknowledged that sometimes such opportunities are not immediately available.
Having managed clubs like Feyenoord, Guangzhou R&F, and Rangers, Van Bronckhorst achieved success by winning the Eredivisie with Feyenoord and the Scottish Cup with Rangers. He also led Rangers to the final of the Europa League last year.
In a related note, former Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, who now plays for Santos in Brazil, is making a potential comeback earlier than expected. Initially expected to be out until next year due to a calf injury, Morelos has returned to full training and has been named in the Santos squad for their upcoming match against Fluminense.
