Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimarães expressed disappointment with the draw against Paris Saint-Germain in the recent Champions League clash. In a conversation with Brazilian media outlet TNT Sports, the 26-year-old shared his frustration with the result, particularly contesting the legitimacy of the penalty awarded to PSG. Guimarães disagreed with Kylian Mbappé’s assertion that PSG dominated the game, asserting that Newcastle deserved to win.

According to Guimarães, PSG performed better in the second half, acknowledging that Newcastle had opportunities in the first half. Despite missing key players, he emphasized that the team stuck to their training plan, highlighting their earlier home victory against PSG where they scored four goals. Guimarães expressed confidence that Newcastle should have secured another win in the recent match.
