JUST IN : Legia Warsaw boss drops major hint ahead of Aston Villa

Legia Warsaw manager Kosta Runjaic has provided an update on two players, midfielder Rafał Augustyniak and striker Blaz Kramer, ahead of their Europa Conference League clash against Aston Villa.

Augustyniak and Kramer were left out of the draw against Warta Poznan, raising doubts about their availability for the upcoming match against Aston Villa. Kramer, in particular, had reportedly refused to play in a reserves match.

Regarding the status of the players, Runjaic mentioned that Rafał Augustyniak is with the team, but he did not confirm whether he is ready to play. He emphasized Augustyniak’s importance to the team and indicated that the final decision on the lineup will be made closer to the match.

As for Blaz Kramer, Runjaic stated that he is considered in the squad for the upcoming match against Aston Villa. Despite the earlier uncertainties, Runjaic expressed confidence that Kramer will be motivated for the game, much like the other players in the squad. The manager did not provide specific details about Kramer’s readiness but suggested that he is in contention for the match.

Aston Villa will host Legia Warsaw in their penultimate Europa Conference League group stage tie at Villa Park, with both teams looking to secure favorable positions in Group E before heading into the final game.
