JUST IN : Hull City club’s owners outlines contract extension latest

Liam Rosenior, the manager of Hull City, anticipates the official confirmation of his contract extension within the next 48 hours, just ahead of the Tigers’ Championship game against QPR on Saturday. The discussions between Rosenior and the club’s owners, Acun Ilicali and Tan Kesler, have been ongoing for several weeks. An initial agreement was reached last month for Rosenior to stay at the MKM Stadium until June 2027.

Rosenior expressed confidence that the contract extension would be finalized without any issues and joked about his excitement for the popular toffee apple crumble in the stadium’s concourses. He also humorously requested more biscuits from McVities, the club’s partner.

The Hull City boss, set to oversee his 50th game in charge against QPR, highlighted the ease of managing a group of players who believe in the team’s progress. Despite being in the thick of the play-off mix after 19 games, Rosenior emphasized the importance of continued progress and expressed his love for the club. He looks forward to a long tenure at Hull City and aims to leave a lasting impact, with his focus on achieving meaningful milestones rather than the number of games he manages.
