Fulham turn full transfer attention to 22-year-old Chelsea star

Fulham is reportedly in search of a new striker, and while they were initially linked with Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy, recent reports suggest that manager Marco Silva has turned his attention to Chelsea’s Armando Broja. The 22-year-old forward has found it challenging to secure a regular spot in Chelsea’s first team since returning from a loan spell with Southampton 18 months ago. With just two Premier League starts this season and Chelsea pursuing Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, a move to Fulham could offer Broja a new challenge.

Fulham appears to be shifting its focus to Broja due to concerns about competing with Manchester United and Newcastle United for Guirassy. The Albanian forward, who suffered a long-term knee injury during pre-season, may benefit from a move to Craven Cottage, providing him with more playing time and opportunities to develop.

Broja, currently earning around £40,000 per week, has four-and-a-half years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge and is valued at around £28 million, according to Transfermarkt. If the deal materializes, it could be a mutually beneficial move for Fulham and Broja, giving the young striker a chance to play a more prominent role in a new environment.
