Bradford City defender Noah Wadsworth has extended his loan spell at Farsley Celtic, a move approved by Bradford City in mid-November to provide the 18-year-old with valuable experience. Wadsworth, who signed his first professional deal with Bradford City in the summer after progressing through the club’s academy, has impressed during his loan stint at the National League North side under the management of former Bantams striker Clayton Donaldson.
During his time at Farsley Celtic, Wadsworth has made three league appearances, showcasing his talent and gaining practical experience in non-league football. The loan extension, reported on Farsley’s website, indicates that Wadsworth will remain with Farsley Celtic for another month before returning to his parent club in January.
Wadsworth’s progression through Bradford City’s youth ranks and his subsequent professional contract highlight his standing within the club. Although he is yet to make his senior debut for Bradford City, he has been a consistent presence in various youth levels. Prior to his loan to Farsley, Wadsworth had a stint at Tadcaster Albion.
Notably, Noah Wadsworth’s younger brother, Gabriel, is also part of Bradford City’s setup.
Under the management of Graham Alexander, Bradford City is performing well and currently sits in 14th place in the League Two table, just three points away from the playoff positions. The team aims to build on its recent positive form, having reached the playoffs last season but falling at the semi-finals stage to eventual winners Carlisle United. Bradford City’s next fixture is an away game against Doncaster Rovers scheduled for this Friday.
