Huddersfield Town duo set to make welcome returns but Lee Nicholls will miss Norwich City trip
Huddersfield Town manager Darren Moore has confirmed that Ben Jackson and Kyle Hudlin are set to return to the squad for the upcoming match against Norwich City. Both players had been sidelined with groin injuries, with Jackson missing three games and Hudlin missing six. Jackson was withdrawn during the second half against Swansea City, while Hudlin’s last appearance was against Hull City before the international break.
Moore expressed his satisfaction at having the attacking options of Jackson and Hudlin back in the squad. He praised Jackson’s performance in the right wing-back role before his injury, noting his growth in confidence and stature. The manager mentioned that Jackson’s return was a welcome boost for the team.
However, Huddersfield Town will be without goalkeeper Lee Nicholls, who is undergoing concussion protocol after sustaining a head injury in the previous game against Millwall. Nicholls had recently returned from a neck injury, and Moore emphasized the importance of following medical advice and concussion protocols.
Despite Nicholls’ absence, Moore stated that the squad looks in relatively healthy condition overall. The team will still be without seven players for the upcoming clash with Norwich City unless there are additional returns to the fold.
