Fulham has reportedly reached a deal in principle to sign Fluminense midfielder Andre in the January transfer window. It is believed that the Cottagers have agreed with the Copa Libertadores winners, and the 22-year-old midfielder now needs to give the green light for the move to proceed.

With Fluminense’s Serie A season concluded, Andre has the opportunity to showcase his skills against English opponents in the Club World Cup final against Manchester City. The Brazilian defensive midfielder has expressed his dream of moving to the Premier League, and Fluminense is ready to part ways with him in January.

In the summer window, Liverpool had multiple bids for Andre rejected by Fluminense, and he stayed with the club to help them win the Copa Libertadores. Andre has been a key player, making 60 appearances across all competitions in 2023 and scoring one goal. He has also earned a place in the senior Brazil squad, playing 90 minutes in recent qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.

Despite signing a contract extension earlier this year that runs until 2026, Andre is set to make a move to the Premier League with Fulham in January. The Cottagers, currently sitting 11th in the Premier League, are expected to be active in the transfer window as they aim to build on their recent positive performances under manager Marco Silva.
