Bambo Diaby is set to undergo a three-match suspension following his expulsion during the Boxing Day match against Coventry. The defender received a red card after the final whistle due to an off-the-ball incident involving Sky Blues defender Liam Kitching, who also faced a similar consequence.
As a result of the suspension, Diaby will be absent from the upcoming fixture against Preston on Friday, the New Year’s Day encounter with Hull, and the Emirates FA Cup third-round match against Cardiff.
