The 24th edition of the All-American Bowl is set to take place at San Antonio’s Alamodome, showcasing high school football talent in the East vs. West matchup. This annual event serves as a platform for graduating high school players to culminate their high school careers before transitioning to college football. With a focus on celebrating “high school excellence both on and off the field,” this year’s All-American Bowl highlights the top 100 senior football players from across the nation.
A notable presence in the game comes from Auburn University, as five members of their recent signing class secured spots on either Team East or Team West. Here’s a breakdown of the Auburn players featured:
1. **Walker White – 4-star QB; Team West, No. 15:**
Auburn’s 4-star quarterback signee, Walker White, has earned a place on Team West, claiming one of three quarterback spots. White, who committed to Auburn in February and signed his letter of intent in December, is praised by Coach Hugh Freeze for his potential to become a star. In his senior season at Little Rock Christian Academy, White showcased his skills, completing 61% of his passes for 2,282 yards, 29 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Known as a dual-threat quarterback, he also added 346 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground.
2. **DeAndre Carter – 4-star OL; Team West, No. 72:**
DeAndre Carter, a 4-star offensive lineman from Mater Dei High School, secured one of the 11 offensive linemen spots on Team West. Freeze and the Tigers were persistent in recruiting Carter, who committed in September and officially signed in December. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing over 350 pounds, Carter is highly praised for his lateral movement skills.
3. **Amaris Williams – 4-star DL; Team East, No. 14:**
Auburn’s surprise signing, Amaris Williams, flipped from Florida to Auburn on National Signing Day. Ranked as the eighth-best defensive lineman in the cycle and the No. 1 prospect from North Carolina, Williams will be part of Team East as one of nine defensive linemen. During his senior season at Clinton High School, Williams excelled on both sides of the ball, accumulating 34 total tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, and 11 sacks.
4. **Demarcus Riddick – 4-star LB; Team East, No. 6:**
Wearing the No. 6 jersey for Team East, 4-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick committed to Auburn in July, choosing the Tigers over Alabama and Georgia. Riddick, ranked as the fifth-best linebacker and sixth-best prospect in Alabama, signed his letter of intent in December. During his senior campaign at Chilton County High School, Riddick posted impressive numbers with 92 total tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, three sacks, 14 quarterback hurries, an interception, and a fumble recovery.
5. **Kensley Faustin – 4-star DB; Team East, No. 22:**
Kensley Faustin, a 4-star defensive back committed to Auburn in June, earned a spot on Team East as one of the 11 defensive backs. Listed as a safety by 247 Sports, Faustin is ranked as the 57th-best safety nationally and the 71st-ranked prospect in Florida. In his senior season at Naples High School, Faustin showcased his skills with 65 total tackles, six tackles for a loss, 12 pass breakups, and five interceptions.
