‘Unbelievable’ player could now leave West Ham if Jota signs before the deadline

Said Benrahma may quit West Ham United if the club completes a deal to buy Al Ittihad’s Jota before the deadline.

That’s according to The Daily Mail, which has the latest on West Ham’s plans for the remainder of the transfer window.
The Hammers are presently considering a move to sign a new forward player ahead of the deadline this week.

David Moyes’ side had been connected with a transfer for Nordsjaelland winger Ibrahim Osman, who was eager on moving to the London Stadium. However, reaching an agreement on a fee with the Danish club has been difficult, prompting West Ham to consider signing Jota.

Indeed, it was reported yesterday that West Ham had agreed to sign Jota on a loan deal until the end of the season.

And, if the east London club overcomes the ‘tax issue’ that could prevent Jota from making the transition, Said Benrahma may go.

According to the Mail, West Ham could let Benrahma leave if Jota signs a loan agreement this month.

It has been reported that Moyes’ side have shifted their focus to the Portuguese star after talks with Nordsjaelland over Osman halted.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are looking to sign Maxwel Cornet on loan.
West Ham face a hectic week as they try to bolster Moyes’ attacking options for the rest of the season.
Benrahma has shown flashes of his potential throughout his time in east London and is a ‘unbelievable’ talent on his day.

However, the 28-year-old has battled for consistent starts this season and is currently out of favour with Moyes.

While it would be unfortunate to see the Algerian international leave after failing to fulfill his full potential at West Ham, it may be the best option for both sides.

The Hammers are looking for a quality alternative on the left side, and moving Benrahma on may be required if they sign Jota this week.
