SHOCKING NEWS : Alabama Crimson Tide has announces the departure of potential staff, after

New Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer’s efforts to complete his staff will continue, with Crimson Tide strength coach Paul Constantine joining the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, according to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports on Tuesday. Constantine had been Alabama’s director of applied science since 2022.

He had been on the Crimson Tide’s strength staff since 2020. When Matt Rhea left to join the New Orleans Saints, Constantine took over as director.
Constantine oversaw the strength and conditioning program with Alabama’s director of sports performance, David Ballou, who continues on staff. Nick Saban implemented the two-man structure when longtime strength coach Scott Cochran left the University of Alabama in 2020.

He had worked with Rhea and Ballou at Indiana before joining the Crimson Tide in 2020. His wife, Janese Constantine, was previously an assistant coach for Alabama’s women’s basketball team.

Constantine will become the third Alabama employee to accept an NFL position in recent days. He joins offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb and offensive line coach Scott Huff, who were hired by the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.
He will allegedly join new Falcons head coach Raheem Morris’ staff as associate director of strength and conditioning. Morris was hired to replace the fired Arthur Smith after Atlanta finished 7-10 last season.
