Nathan Jones has list out 3 Charlton Athletic players who may not play for the club again

The 3 Charlton Athletic players who may not play for the club again

Charlton Athletic’s 2023/24 campaign has been chaotic, with managerial changes resulting in few peaceful moments at The Valley.
Nathan Jones has taken over as manager of Charlton Athletic, with the goal of keeping the Addicks in League One. Dean Holden and Michael Appleton have come and gone, making it a hard season for the players in South London.
The frequent fluctuation will have been upsetting, and this means that certain members have been in and out of the team. Some players are no longer in the Addicks’ plans, and they may never play for the club again.

Here are three Charlton Athletic players that may not play again for the club.

Scott Fraser

After a difficult first half of the season, attacking midfielder Fraser returned to his native Scotland with Hearts. Since signing, he has stated that he intends to stay north of the border permanently, therefore his Tynecastle tenure could serve as an audition for a long-term move.

When the loan finishes, he will have a year left on his contract with Charlton Athletic, but given his desire to return to Scotland, he may not play again for the club.

Diallang Jaiyesimi

Jaiyesimi, a former Norwich City kid, is another loan player who appears to be heading for a permanent exit in 2024. Unlike Fraser, his Addicks contract expires at the end of the season.
The winger is on loan at St. Johnstone, and his contract is about to expire, making a free move the most likely outcome.

Jack Payne

Last but not least is Jack Payne, who presently plays in League Two for MK Dons. His contract, like Jaiyesimi’s, expires in the summer, and after a difficult season at The Valley, he may also leave.
This season, he has five goals and four assists in 30 games for MK.
