The report reveals how long Nuno Tavares will be missing for Forest.
This isn’t ideal, and with Ola Aina sidelined, Harry Toffolo is the sole choice at left-back.

On Saturday, Nuno Espirito Santo chose Moussa Niakhate in that position, which Ian Wright claimed made no sense.

According to The Telegraph, Tavares will be out of action for Forest for around four weeks due to a thigh injury.

Tavares was just getting into his stride at Forest following a rocky start on loan from Arsenal.

He barely made the matchday team under Steve Cooper, but Espirito Santo recognized potential in him.
Before Saturday’s game against Aston Villa, the defender had started four of the previous five Premier League games.

He has made 11 appearances in all, but must now sit out while recovering from his most recent injury.

Tavares is running out of time to show himself at City Ground.
Regardless of which league Forest plays in next season, Tavares is unlikely to stay with the club.

Espirito Santo will almost probably have a left-back in mind if the club remains in the Premier League, where options are scarce.

Tavares joined the club from Arsenal, and after scoring six goals for Marseille last season, the move looked promising.

Ultimately, he has failed to prove himself, and this is very much a case of two steps back.

Tavares is expected to return for the Forest game, and it will be intriguing to watch what happens when he returns from his injury.
