Ipswich Town are in an exciting contest for automatic promotion, having prospered since their promotion from League One under Kieran McKenna.
Ipswich Town have won their last four games and are equal on points with second-place Leeds United. The major focus will be on returning to the Championship top two, but they will almost likely be looking ahead to the forthcoming summer transfer market.

The Tractor lads are set to see a number of players go at the conclusion of the season, regardless of tier, with several having already played their final game for the club.

Here are three players who may fit this group…

Idris El-mizouni

Ipswich Town midfielder Idris El Mizouni signs new three-year deal
El-Mizouni is now on his second loan with Leyton Orient, as he moves away from Portman Road. There is a 12-month option to extend his contract this summer, but that might be used to cash in before his contract expires.

If the option to go permanently arises when his current loan expires, the midfielder may be wise to seize it.

Sone Aluko

has made only seven appearances this season, with only one in league play and a brief cameo of two minutes. Despite his little playing time, he remains a significant figure off the pitch.

The 35-year-old Nigerian winger joined the Tractor Boys in 2021 and played extensively in his initial season, but his game time has since dwindled to the point that he has only made four matchday squads in the Championship this year. His contract with Ipswich Town expires this summer, and he may not play again.

Dominic Ball

Ball signed as a free agent at the start of last season, but his time at Ipswich Town hasn’t gone as planned.

The 28-year-old made only 19 appearances in all competitions last season and has made even fewer this season, with 14 on his name thus far. Ball, who is out of contract at the end of June, has not appeared in any of the last six matchday squads and is unlikely to be called up now that Ipswich is third in the Championship standings.
