Wife of NFL star designs custom vest for Caitlin Clark’s Senior Day
“It’s a special piece and I hope she loves it.”
Senior guard Caitlin Clark is projected to make history at Iowa Hawkeyes Senior Day on Sunday, needing only 18 points to break Pete Maravich’s NCAA lifetime scoring record. Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk, designed a special item of clothing to commemorate the milestone.
Juszczyk has recently designed a number of unique personalized pieces for major celebrities, including a Travis Kelce-themed puffer jacket for pop icon Taylor Swift.
Cassandra Negley of Yahoo Sports broke the news first, uploading a photo of the vest on social media, which includes various accolades she earned during her undergraduate career.
Juszczyk published a comment to Yahoo Sports about the vest, stating she hoped she could have incorporated all of Clark’s remarkable accomplishments throughout her historic college career.
“I wish I could include all of her awards, but that would require 700 jackets. “That is incredible,” Juszczyk told Yahoo Sports. “It’s a special piece and I hope she loves it.”
This game is important for more than just Clark’s record. It’s also significant for Iowa as a team. They’ll face Ohio State, which is ranked second. A victory would undoubtedly demonstrate that they are a legitimate contender to win a National Championship.
