A single player explains West Brom mystery after Companies House update emerged

Despite concerns raised in the last 24 hours, Lewis Cox has clarified that the continuing problem with West Brom Holdings is absolutely distinct from the club.

The Express & Star journalist stated on his X account that the group was essentially a holding account for Yunyi and Guochuan Lai, same to how Bilkul Football WBA is now following Shilen Patel’s acquisition.

Any concerns about West Brom Holdings can now be alleviated.
Fans were concerned when the change in documentation was discovered, which was understandable given the club’s circumstances under Lai, but now that such concerns have been alleviated, we look forward to future adjustments to the ownership arrangement.

As things stand, West Brom Holdings will change its name in due course to prevent any relationship with the club following the takeover, which explains the changes in director and registration address, which has relocated from The Hawthorns to Solihull.

The future at The Hawthorns seems bright under Shilen Patel, with enough of positives to take from his early days as owner, after bold pledges made to the supporters upon his arrival.

Any concerns that may have persisted following the Lai era at West Brom may be disregarded in favour of looking forward to what the future holds under Patel’s leadership and what Carlos Corberan can assist the team achieve this season.
