Three AC Milan players, Theo Hernandez, Yunus Musah, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, must be careful against Empoli tomorrow because they are one yellow card away from suspension. Then then, based on the schedule, tactical cards could be on the agenda.
Milan will face Empoli tomorrow and Hellas Verona in the following round, two games they should win despite missing a few players. Alessandro Florenzi and Rafael Leao are both suspended for tomorrow’s encounter, but the Rossoneri have adequate depth.
The initial impression could be that Hernandez, Musah, and Loftus-Cheek should exercise caution tomorrow, but the schedule says otherwise. After Verona, Milan will face Fiorentina away from home, and that class is probably far more difficult than the other two.
A card for Hernandez tomorrow, therefore, may be positive because he would almost certainly be available for the game against La Viola. It remains to be seen how he will behave on the field tomorrow, but sometimes it is simply best to accept the punishment.
Noah Okafor will replace Rafael Leao in the attacking lineup, and it appears that Luka Jovic will also get a shot. Samuel Chukwueze, on the other hand, remains in the cold.
