Former Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently made news when he was spotted with British-Nigerian boxing phenom Anthony Joshua following Joshua’s spectacular victory over Francis Ngannou, according to Soccernet.ng.

Joshua, who has Nigerian origins on his mother’s side and Irish-Nigerian roots on his father’s side, received a lot of media attention after his decisive win over his Cameroonian opponent in Riyadh.

Ibrahimovic, known for his relationship with football giants such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo De Lima, and Jose Mourinho, has now added Joshua to his list of acquaintances.
In a tweet from his X (previously Twitter) account, Ibrahimovic ignited conjecture by asking who would win if he faced Joshua in a boxing bout.

Before his fight, Joshua met Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo and his ring foe Tyson Fury during a visit arranged by Turki Alakshikh, an adviser to the Saudi Royal Court.

Following the fight, former Chelsea and AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho was spotted congratulating Joshua on his faultless victory over Ngannou.

With the dust settled, Joshua has returned to training and is preparing for a summer fight, reportedly against Filip Hrgovic in June, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to boxing excellence.
