Bruno Guimaraes posts nine word message after seeing news about 23-year-old Newcastle player today

Two of Newcastle United’s top players will face off over the upcoming international break.

After the Magpies’ FA Cup match against Manchester City, for which Kevin De Bruyne is unavailable, there will be a domestic break.
While some Newcastle United players will be out of action for a few weeks, Bruno Guimaraes will not. He is a member of Brazil’s squad and will play against England at Wembley later this month.

This means he might face Anthony Gordon, who has been nominated to Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions team for the first time. They meet Brazil on March 23rd, and Gordon might make his international debut next Saturday.

Gordon’s feat is fantastic, and he has already got a telegram of congratulations from Alan Shearer. Gordon’s teammate Bruno has since given his own note of support.

Following the revelation of Gordon’s inclusion in the England squad, Bruno took to his official X account to deliver a message to his Toon teammate.

Newcastle duo ready to face off at Wembley
It will be strange seeing Bruno and Gordon on opposing sides. They are usually teammates in black and white, cheered on by the Toon Army. However, that will not be the case on March 23rd at Wembley.

Before then, Bruno and Gordon have the opportunity to schedule another date at Wembley Stadium. If the Magpies beat Manchester City in the FA Cup on Saturday, they will play the semi-finals at the national stadium. Newcastle fans would have to return to Wembley Stadium after attending the Carabao Cup final last season.

Gordon hopes to play against Manchester City this weekend, and his inclusion in the England team shows that the knee injury he received on Monday against Chelsea is not cause for concern.
