Nuno Mendes, a left-back from Portugal, recently joined Paris Saint-Germain and scored in a 6-2 victory over Montpellier. However, given his injury history, may the Parisians still look for another left-back?
Lucas Hernandez filled in for Mendes at left-back, but the capital may be searching for a player whose major position is that one. Furthermore, it may be a player Hernandez is familiar with.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport.fr), PSG is interested in AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez. Previously on the radar of the Parisian club, the French international might join the capital club and reconnect with his brother, Lucas, who also plays for PSG.
AC Milan has set a €100 million fee for obtaining the French defender. Although the Ligue 1 club obviously values the talent, it’s difficult to imagine them paying that much for Theo. PSG will most likely look for a left-back to replace or compete with Mendes, but at a lower cost.
