LAFC IN TALKS TO SIGN AC MILAN KEY PLAYER ON A FREE TRANSFER

According to The Athletic, LAFC has begun conversations with AC Milan’s Olivier Giroud (37) about signing him in the summer transfer window. The France international’s contract with Milan is slated to expire in June, allowing him to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs around the world.

The 37-year-old has previously been linked with a move to North America. Before joining Milan in 2019, the former Chelsea and Arsenal striker was connected with MLS clubs LA Galaxy and Toronto FC. Despite LAFC being the first to express a formal interest in signing him on a free transfer, Giroud has several options, according to The Athletic.

The former Montpellier forward intends to take his time before making a quick or premature decision on where he will play football next season.
