Winnipeg Blue Bombers has announced the trade of another offensive lineman.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Larnel Coleman, an American offensive lineman.

The Miami Dolphins selected the 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He spent his whole rookie season on injured reserve and appeared in one game in 2022, largely on the practice squad.

The native of Malden, Massachusetts, was claimed by the Carolina Panthers midway through the 2022 season and spent the remainder of the year with them before being released toward the end of training camp in 2023.

In December 2023, the 25-year-old signed with the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL, and the Birmingham Stallions selected him with the eighth overall pick in the 2024 UFL dispersal draft. He was discharged earlier this month.

Coleman was a three-year starter at the University of Massachusetts, starting 12 games at right tackle as a redshirt sophomore in 2018 and 16 games at left tackle as a redshirt junior and senior in 2019 and 2020.

Winnipeg is now without an entrenched starter at right tackle after three-time West Division all-star Jermarcus Hardrick signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in free agency, making him the CFL’s highest-paid American offensive lineman.

The Blue Bombers will meet the Grey Cup champion Montreal Alouettes at Princess Auto Stadium on Thursday, June 6, to kick off the 2024 regular season.
