If the New England Patriots were to trade down from third overall, it would have to be an irresistible offer.
Many predict the New England Patriots will choose their quarterback of the future at No. 3 overall later this month, while some believe they will take a different approach.

Instead of keeping the No. 3 pick, some predict the Patriots may trade down in return for a large number of picks. Multiple teams are said to be interested in trading up for a quarterback, with Minnesota being the most notable example. Last month, the Vikings obtained a second first-round pick from the Houston Texans, which many saw as a stepping stone to further trade up.

The Patriots are also in severe need of a quarterback, which undoubtedly contributes to their exorbitant asking price. If a team truly wants to trade up with the Patriots, they must make them an offer they cannot reject.
