The Hawkeyes will play South Carolina in the National Championship Game.
Iowa upset UConn 71-69 on Friday night in an exciting, action-packed game that was close throughout.
Iowa outplayed the Huskies for most of the second half, but the game was decided by a questionable foul call.

With Iowa leading by one basket and only a few seconds remaining, Aaliyah Edwards was called for an offensive foul on a moving screen. Many people, including LeBron James, were stunned.
It was a controversial call that ultimately determined the fate of the game. Paige Bueckers had received the ball and had time to make a move. She may have ended up.

We were unable to determine why she missed her shot.
It’s a call that will be talked about for a long time, especially if Clark and Iowa defeat South Carolina in the final game. It should not tarnish their legacy, but it will for certain supporters.

Caitlin Clark struggled to get her shooting going due to an excellent defensive effort by Nika Muhl, but she provided nine rebounds and seven assists while helping Iowa to the big game once more.
