LATEST NEWS : Crystal Palace in pole position to sign Chelsea flop in summer

Jake Clarke-Salter of Queens Park Rangers is reportedly interested in signing for Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window.

According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace will compete with Burnley, Bournemouth, and Celtic to sign Jake Clarke-Salter, a former Chelsea academy prospect.
It would be interesting to see whether Crystal Palace can sign the 26-year-old central defender, who has played brilliantly for Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Championship.

At the end of the season, the Eagles will need to sign more defensive players, especially if Marc Guehi leaves the squad.

The England international is rumoured to leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season.

Following his great performances for the London club, a number of major English teams are vying for his services this summer.

Clark-Salter could prove to be a wise addition. He is used to playing football in England and will be eager to establish himself in the Premiership.
After failing at Chelsea, he has a point to prove.

He will be enticed to the opportunity to join Crystal Palace and will be eager to get started and have an instant impact.

Next season, he and Joachim Andersen might make a powerful defensive duo for the Eagles.

Celtic and Bournemouth are among the clubs interested in the 26-year-old defender.

Burnley, on the other hand, would not be a good pick given that they are among the favourites to be relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

After proven his ability in the Championship, Clarke-Salter will now want to excel in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace are leading the race to capture Chelsea flop.
In the summer, he wants to join a Premier League squad, and a move to Crystal Palace would be ideal.

The Eagles are presently 14th in the league standings because they haven’t played well this season.

If they want to make a strong recovery the next season, they must prioritize the recruitment of elite players.
