Will Angel Reese profit from Wemby’s style?
Angel Reese is taking her preparations for the WNBA draft seriously. LSU’s women’s basketball team was one of the favorites, so their NCAA tournament setback left a bitter taste.
Ange Reese and her crew aim to learn from and follow in the footsteps of NBA player Victor Wembanyama. Reese is working out with the same coach as San Antonio Spurs star Tim Martin.
Tim Martin is a well-known skills coach around the NBA. In 2022, he planned a training session with Victor Wembanyama and Tyrese Maxey.
Will Angel Reese profit from Wemby’s style?
Angel and Wemby appear to have very different playing styles. Angel, on the one hand, possesses traditional basketball center talents, such as paint movement and strong offensive placement. Meanwhile, Wembanyama is a significantly more adaptable big man.
He boasts unrivaled three-point range and ball-handling abilities similar to those of a point guard. If Angel wants to play like Wemby, she will need to dramatically adjust her game and go through a learning curve.

Vic just wanted to work on defense, and Rese wanted to work on attacking the bigs off the switch. It was fun watching these guys go at it. pic.twitter.com/Px0lRYjWLs
